shopLAstyle.com was launched on April 1, 2003. The original concept behind shopLAstyle.com was to create a site that features great Los Angeles based designers. We know that New York is considered the Fashion Capital, but we feel LA has a lot of influence on fashion as well. Some great designers such as Gorjana, and Vince are based out of LA, and we were very excited to be one of the first sites to ever carry these lines.
Okay, so we don't just carry LA designers. That's because we came across great lines such as Rebecca Taylor and Notify, (who happen to be based out of New York and Italy respectively) and just couldn't pass them up. So, although we mainly carry Los Angeles designers we won't pass up lines that aren't LA based.
So, now we've expanded our definition of LA style...
It is our mission at ShopLAstyle to provide our customer with great clothing from a variety of designers and an easy to use site that gets your order to you quickly (our customers LOVE our fast shipping). From simple C & C California tees designed by two California girls, to the sexy yet feminine designs of Sass and Bide designed by two Aussie girls, ShopLAstyle has evolved into a site that is dedicated to showing our customer exciting fashions that you can't necessarily get everywhere else. Because fashion is constantly changing-- so does our site. We receive new merchandise on a weekly basis so check back often...or sign up for our mailing list to receive emails about new items and special offers.
The designers we choose each have something special about them. Whether they are basic items that you can wear everyday like Zooey or Vince, or if they're the unique and special pieces from designers such as Rebecca Taylor or Sass & Bide, or celebrity favorites from designers such as Lee Riot or True Religion, there's something for everyone here at ShopLAstyle.

C & C California - Created by two southern California girls who loved the beaches of California, this incredible t-shirt line has become one of the most essential items in anyone's wardrobe. To achieve their goal of creating The Perfect Tee, the girls designed a super soft lightweight fabric that is great for layering and is 100% cotton. They are one of "Oprah's Favorite Things" of course.
Gorjana - Gorjana's collection was created with a vision of jewelry that can be worn from day to night on any occasion. Her design philosophy is to keep it simple, versatile, and alluring. Amazingly enough, her designs are done completely without any sketching. Each piece is made from the highest quality stones and materials, and is personally hand made.
Rebecca Taylor - This New York based designer describes her collection as "kittenish clothing that indulges feminine wiles." Originally from New Zealand, Taylor's designs are inspired by a handful of references from music, art, or entertainment, to vintage mod books of the 60's and 70's. Her clothing is feminine and flattering and enhances the women who wear them. Celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Ashley Judd, and Keri Russell adore Rebecca Taylor, as we do too of course!
Tarina Tarantino - This Los Angeles based designer is known for her bright, fun, and sparkly jewelry. Tarina's collection consists of everything from Hello Kitty to bangles, to Pet Jewelry. She is one of the most innovative jewelry designers out there. The latest craze, her "Bag Candy", consist of different charms you can add to her colorful chains that are purchased separately. Create your own one of kind Tarina Tarantino necklace or belt!
Three Dots - You can never have too many of these great tees in your closet. Known for their great quality and fabrics such as Supima Cotton and Cashmere pieces, this LA based designer definitely knows style, quality, and uniqueness. They always offer different fabrics based on the seasons. Whether it's hot or cold, Three Dots makes great high quality clothing.
True Religion Jeans - This Los Angeles based denim company was established not too long ago in the fall of 2002. Since then they have grown a huge market due to their unique and remarkable hand embroideries, vintage looking washes, and great attention to detail. Their innovative approach to the denim market has been a rapid success across the U.S. and overseas.
Vince - Los Angeles based line known for great classic styling. We love their cashmere in the winter.
Zooey Tees - Zooey t-shirts are known for their being made out of extremely thin 100% Supima Cotton. Super soft and feminine, with extra long sleeves, these tees are great for layering. Available in a variety of colors and styles, the shirts are cut to be slouchy both also body conscious. The unfinished hems give a very stylish appeal.
