If you think you are not able to return merchandise to us within 21 days or you would like to take any tags off (or worse, reattach tags) before returning something, then you will not be happy shopping here. If you think it is reasonable to return items within 21 days of receiving them and with all original tags attached then we would love to have you as a customer! Please read ahead for more details about our return policy and feel free to contact us with any questions.
We have a 21 day return policy and require that all original tags are attached. We accept returns on all merchandise, including sale items, for a full refund. The only exclusions are special order items and items purchased with coupons that have the Final Sale condition. If a coupon has a Final Sale condition then it will be clearly stated in the terms of the coupon and during checkout.

We have the same 21 day return policy for sale items as we do non-sale items.
Complete Return Policy
Returns for refund, exchange or store credit are accepted on items that have not been worn, altered, or washed, and with all original tags attached
unless purchased with a coupon that excludes returns. Merchandise must be returned to us in the original condition it was received in. Shoes must be returned with the box in original condition and without any added postage stickers, etc. This means that you should take care with how you package the item. We've had some merchandise returned to us damaged because of poor packaging. We cannot refund your money, exchange the item or issue a store credit in this case. If merchandise is damaged in transit and was the fault of the shipper, you are responsible for filing any claims against the shipper and we cannot accept the return. Of course, we will assist you with your claim as much as we can.
You can only return merchandise for refund, exchange or store credit by mail within 21 days of delivery date
of purchase. This means that your return for refund, exchange or store credit must have a postmark that is within 21 days of when the package was originally delivered to you. You may check your receipt page using the link emailed you to see the postmark date the package must have in order to be eligible for return for refund, exchange or store credit.
You must include a completed return form with the merchandise that you are returning. Returns received without the return form will not be processed.
All original tags must be attached.
In order to maintain the highest level of quality merchandise, we cannot accept returns once any original tag has been detached. Every item that is shipped has a ShopLAStyle.com tag attached that states "This item cannot be returned once this tag is detached." Once you remove this tag in any way, you own the item. Reattaching the tag with tape, glue, etc is not acceeptable. We suggest you try on and inspect all items before removing the tags. Items received with the tag detached (or reattached) will not be processed. We can return the items at your expense upon request.
Items purchased with coupons
Our standard return policy applies to items purchased with a coupon, unless indicated in the coupon conditions. If you would like to exchange an item purchased using a coupon and maintain the discount then we require the item be the same item in a different size or color at the same price. Sorry, but we cannot reapply the coupon to an exchange that is not an even exchange. Please check all coupon conditions before checkout as different conditions may apply for different coupons.
Any packages that are returned to us with customs or duties owing will be refused. All customs or duties that are payable as a result of an international return must be paid by the sender.
Shipping charges are not refundable and you are responsible for all shipping charges related to the return. We strongly recommend that you insure all items when you ship them for a return.
Once we receive the item, we will issue a refund to your credit card on the following Monday by 7pm PST. We are only able to issue credits to the card that was originally used for the purchase.
How to Return Merchandise
If you would like to return an item, simply repackage the item. Remember to fill out the return form, include it in the package, and use the return shipping label provided (postage required). The return form must be filled out and included in the package. Packages received without a filled out return form will not be processed. Take care when packaging the return because we cannot refund, exchange or offer store credit to items that arrive damaged due to poor packaging or at the fault of the shipper.

What happens when we cannot accept a return
We cannot issue a refund, exchange or store credit for any item classified as not acceptable. Returns are not acceptable if any one of the following conditions apply:
- 1) Package has a postmark more than 21 days after the package was delivered to you. This date is determined based on the tracking information provided by the shipper.
- 2) Merchandise is received damaged, worn, washed, altered, not in saleable condition or without the original tags attached.
- 3) Return form is not filled out or is not included in package.
- 4) The item you purchased was a custom or special order.
Refunds will be processed within 5 business days from when we receive the package, assuming all criteria are met. You will receive an email confirming the amount of the credit.
Exchange an Item
If you would like to exchange an item then we will ship the new items at our expense (does not apply to international orders). The item you would like to exchange for must be in stock and we must receive the original item (shipped to us at your expense) before we can ship out the new item. Returns for exchange are only accepted if they meet all criteria for an acceptable return. Since we maintain small quantities of inventory, we cannot be sure that the item you would like to exchange for is available. If you would like to exchange something, please email us
and we can hold that item for you until your return gets to us, if it is available. Make sure to note the exchange on the return form.
We highly recommend that you return the item via an insured carrier (e.g., FedEx, USPS Priority Mail), and that you insure the item for its full value. Make sure to retain all postal and insurance receipts -- this will protect you in case the item is damaged or lost in transit. All returns must be pre-paid; sorry, we cannot accept COD returns.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive defective, damaged merchandise or an incorrect item, notify us via email within three days of receiving the product. We recommend you reply to your Delivery Confirmation email explaining the damaged/incorrect item. You are required to keep the original box and all packaging materials so that we can file a claim with the shipper. We will email you a FedEx return label and will ship you a replacement if one is available. The merchandise must not be used, worn, washed and must have all tags still attached. If it is determined that there is no damage or defect then a $10 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
Return Policy Definitions
Date of receipt
- the date that the shipper delivers the package to the shipping address. The date of receipt is NOT the date you open the package (i.e. you were out of town when it was delivered so you didn't open the package for another 3 days). Date of receipt is the date that the package is succesfully delivered to the recipient.
- An item that you purchased from ShopLAStyle.com that is shipped back to us. The only types of returns we have are for refund, exchange or for store credit. We only accept returns if they meet all conditions as defined in the return policy. If a return is not accepted by us then it becomes an Unacceptable Return.
- An exchange is a return for other merchandise that is currently in stock. If the item that you would like to exchange for is out of stock then the return is not for an exchange. The return is either for a refund or store credit.
- A store credit may be issued for merchandise returned if the return was determined to be acceptable. A store credit may be issued if the item you returned is a gift because we can only issue refunds to the credit card that was used in the original transaction.
