True Religion Jeans - I am a perfect size 26 in True Religion stretch jeans. I find that the
True Religion Joey jean is a little more forgiving through the thigh than the True Religion Straight Leg Johnny and Stevie.
Seven For All Mankind - In most Seven Jeans I wear a size 26, though I wear a size 25 in the classic
Seven Ginger style. The Low Rise Seven Ginger jeans are a size 26 but are running a little smaller than most of the size 26 Seven's I own. I'm a size 26 in the
Dojo Trouser style jean. The Seven Dojo jean is considered a wide leg because it is a little more loose through the thigh than the Seven Boot Cut jean, though the Dojo is not super wide.
J Brand Jeans - I wear a size 26 in most J Brand when the fabrication is 98% cotton, 2% spandex. I have a size 27 in the Lightweight
Love Story jean I own and it is tight on me. The 72% cotton, 28% elastercell fabrication barely stretches out.
Hudson Jeans - We've heard from some customers that Hudson Jeans run small. I think Hudson Jeans may have run small when the line was first introduced because we do not notice the jeans running small. The
Hudson Signature Boot jean is definitely the best selling jean from Hudson. We've noticed that girls who are a little less curvy with more of a boyish straight figure love Hudson Boot Cut jeans. The
Hudson Deluxe Wide Leg jean has been one of our best selling wide leg jeans. This wide leg jean is pretty wide through the thigh so it is easy to fit on a wide variety of shapes. Celebrities such as Katie Holmes and Jessica Alba have been seen in the Hudson Deluxe Wide Leg.
Joe's Jeans - Joe's Jeans best selling jean is their
Honey Boot Cut Jean. The Honey jean is known for fitting curvy women. Joe's Jeans was one of the first denim lines to introduce a petite jean called
The Provocateur. Joe's Jeans runs a little big.
AG Jeans - I feel like I'm almost a size 25 in AG Jeans, especially in the fulller cut
AG Club Jean. The AG Club Jean is a flare leg jean that was made famous by Oprah when she picked it as one her favorite things. AG Jeans is also known for it's Angel Boot Cut jean and the Legend Flare Jean.
A Note About Buying Premium Denim
- If the jeans are a little too tight when you first try them on then they are perfect.
- If the jeans fit you perfectly in the dressing room, then they will be too loose once you get them home and wear them a bit.

In general, we use the following leg opening measurements when classifying whether a jean is a skinny leg jean, straight leg, boot cut, etc. We define a wide leg jean as a jean that isn't fitted through the thigh area. A Flare Leg/Bell Bottom jean is more fitted through the thigh and then kicks out to a 21"+ leg opening.
